The online briefings will provide Party representatives, observers and other stakeholders with an overview of the agenda items that will be considered by the conferences of the Parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions during the face-to-face segment of their meetings to be held from 6 to 17 June 2022 in Geneva.

The online briefings will provide Party representatives, observers and other stakeholders with an overview of the main outcomes and decisions of the online segment of the meetings of the conferences of the Parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions that was held from 26 to 30 July 2021. The briefings will furthermore familiarize participants with the road ahead to the face-to-face segment of the meetings scheduled from 6 to 17 June 2022 in Geneva.

At the request of the Presidents of the conferences of the Parties, this briefing aims at assisting the preparation of Parties delegations for the online budget discussions, including in a possible contact group on budget, during the online segment of the meetings of the COPs in July 2021.

The online briefings will provide Party representatives, observers and other stakeholders with an overview of the agenda items that are expected to be considered by the conferences of the Parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions during their online segment in July 2021. The briefings will furthermore familiarize participants with the schedule of the online segment and other practical information.
