The Conference of the Parties at its eleventh meeting in 2023 invited developing country Parties and Parties with economies in transition to provide information to the Secretariat on their needs in terms of technical assistance, according to the provisions of the Convention, their difficulties in implementing the Convention and any other views in that regard (decision RC-11/6).

 

Considering the above and with the aim of facilitating the collection of information, the Secretariat developed this online questionnaire. Questions are based on priority areas for assistance identified through the previous questionnaire, circulated in 2020. The results of the survey will be considered by the Secretariat when designing its draft technical assistance programme, which will be submitted for consideration by the Conference of the Parties at its twelfth meeting in April-May 2025.
