	Preparations for Basel Convention COP-15 underway: Bureau meeting report now available The Bureau of the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention met online, 25 to 26 June 2020, to discuss preparations for COP-15 in 2021. The report of that meeting is now available online. Share:
	Amended Basel Convention text now available online in 6 UN languages The new text includes the plastic waste amendments made at the 2019 Meeting of the Conference of Parties (COP-14). Share:
	Plastic Waste Partnership Briefing webinars organised to outline possibilities for funding actions on plastic waste The new call for proposals will be presented and discussed during these Basel Convention online meetings. Share:
	Preparations for Rotterdam Convention COP-10 underway: Bureau meeting report now available The Bureau of the Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention met online, 9 June 2020, to discuss preparations for COP-10 in 2021. The report of that meeting is now available online. Share:
	Algeria becomes the 162nd Party to the Rotterdam Convention Having recently deposited its instrument of accession WITH the UN Depositary in New York, the convention will ENTER INTO FORCE for Algeria on 19 October 2020. Share:
	Key Stockholm Convention meeting pushes ahead with planning Preparations for the 2021 Meeting of the Conference of Parties (COP) are discussed by the Stockholm Convention’s COP Bureau, during an online meeting on 10 June 2020. Share:
	Samoa updates its national plan for implementing the Stockholm Convention Reflecting amendments made at COP4, 5, 6, 7, & 8, Samoa has become the latest of the Convention’s 182 Parties to transmit its updated National Implementation Plan, or NIP. Share:
	Tuvalu accedes to the Basel and Rotterdam conventions The Basel and Rotterdam conventions continue to grow as Tuvalu becomes the 188th, and 163rd Party respectively, with into force on 19 November 2020. Share:
