	Abiola Olanipekun: Science in support of decision-making for the listing of chemicals at the 2017 COPs Listing of chemicals is again at the core of this year’s meetings of the Conference of the Parties (COPs) to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions. A total of eight chemicals will be considered for inclusion in Annex III of the Rotterdam Convention; whilst two new chemicals will be considered for listing as persistent organic pollutants (POPs) under the Stockholm Convention.
