Highlights: The annual joint meeting to enhance cooperation and coordination between the regional centres under the Basel and Stockholm conventions is scheduled to take place on 5 and 6 December 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland.
The aim of the meeting is to:
• Enhance cooperation and coordination between the regional centres of the Basel and Stockholm conventions;
• Promote and enhance synergies in delivery of technical assistance under the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions.
These annual meetings provide an opportunity for the regional centres to exchange experiences and engage in discussions among themselves, as well as with the Secretariat and other relevant partners, on issues mandated by the respective conferences of the Parties.

Meeting objectives:
- To promote the enhanced coordination and collaboration among the regional centres such that it ensures the best use of the expertise available with regional centres in the delivery of technical assistance;
- To promote networking opportunity with various partners, including networks that are involved in assisting Parties in implementing the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions;
