Highlights: Face-to face meetings of the regional centres under the Basel and Stockholm conventions have been convened almost every year since 2008 in order to:
• Enhance cooperation and coordination between the regional centres of the Basel and Stockholm conventions;
• Promote and enhance synergies in delivery of technical assistance under the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions.
These meetings have been providing opportunity for the regional centres to exchange experiences and discuss amongst themselves, as well as with the Secretariat and other relevant partners including bilateral and multilateral donors, on issues as mandated by the relevant conferences of the Parties.

Meeting objectives:
- To promote the enhanced coordination and collaboration among the regional centres such that it ensures the best use of the expertise available with regional centres in the delivery of technical assistance;
- To promote networking opportunity with various partners, including networks that are involved in assisting Parties in implementing the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions;
