The Conference of the Parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions, through decisions
BC-16/19,
RC-11/7, and
SC-11/15, mandated the Secretariat to explore the development of a non-State actor resource mobilization strategy. This work is based on information from the assessment of the relevance of existing United Nations guidelines and other documents on resource mobilization from non-State actors. The findings are reported to the Conference of the Parties at subsequent meetings.
