Briefing session for the media in preparation for the upcoming meetings of the Conference of the Parties to the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions

Highlights: The briefing session for the media was the opportunity for members of the press to familiarize themselves with the work of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions, ahead of the upcoming meetings of their Conferences of Parties, which will be held in Geneva, Switzerland from 1 to 12 May 2023.

There was one online session in English on 03 April 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm CEST.

The briefing provided a general overview of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions and highlighted the topics that will be negotiated at the next meetings of the Conferences of the Parties.
