The high-level segment took place at the Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG) and the nearby Varembé Conference Centre in Geneva on Thursday, 4 May, from 3 - 6 p.m. and Friday, 5 May, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. In addition a ministerial dinner took place on the evening of 4 May.
Please note the following:
- Representatives from permanent missions in Geneva will be able to pick up badges for registered Ministers in advance of the meeting. Please note, a photo is required for VIP badges, so representatives should bring a passport size photo in electronic form (e.g. on a USB stick) when coming to pick up the badge.
- The opening of the high-level segment, as well as the high-level plenary discussions will be open to all delegates. Participation in the Round-table discussions is limited to ministers, deputy ministers and ambassadors only.
- To promote interactive dialogue among ministers and other high-level delegates, there will be no serial statements or formal speeches during the interactive panel and/or plenary sessions of the high-level segment. Delegations wishing to submit a written statement for posting on the high-level segment webpage may do so by sending it to: jonathan.krueger@brsmeas.org.
- The outcomes of the High-level segment will consist of a report of the High-level segment and a consolidation of the key messages from the round-table discussions.

Briefing will take place at CICG at a date and time to be announced during the 2017 meetings.
