Welcome

Dear Readers,

After the COPs is before the COPs! The important intersessional work of the three Conventions is well underway. Government representatives, experts from civil society and academia and the private sector, and of course the Secretariat staff work tirelessly between COPs to push forward the mechanisms and discussions which together make up the global community’s efforts to secure sound management of chemicals and waste. In this edition of our newsletter you will find details of that work, including news of the upcoming scientific subsidiary body meetings and much more. #Detox!
